Crocodile Dundee

Sunday, March 16, 2008

After giving it much thought – does an 18-month old (with constantly growing feet) really need a pair of crocs?  Our answer was “Yes” – I guess the deciding factor was Divya’s “crooked” running style when she wears the cheapo-but-very-cute pairs of shoes/sandals that Amma buys for her – COME ON, a girl needs her fancy shoes.

Anyway, presenting Ms Dundee……

Checking the authenticity (and the taste eventually) of her 1st pair of crocs

With the warmer weather approaching (….on your side of the world at least), I’m sure the crocs will be well used 🙂 . Did mum and dad get a pair too?

*rofl*…. None of my kids have Crocs. Wonder if the girls would like them? Probably… Especially pink ones for Alicia, and purple ones for Amanda. 😉

Now both Divya and Ooyah wear pink Crocs. They do look cute on toddlers BUT not adults.

I still do not let her stand on the escalator while wearing them though, after THAT particular incident in Singapore.

Ooyah really likes wearing them but there’s one little problem … the Crocs smell really funky when she takes them off. Do me a favour … smell Divya’s Crocs after she takes them off and reassure me that the problem lies with the Crocs’ material and not that my baby has stinky feet. 😛

What size crocs does Divya use, Aunty Bav? Mine is the smallest they have, though I am REALLY outgrowing it (my feet get all red you know…) But I can run really well in my crocs compared to other shoes…
P.S: Mama gets high when she smells my Crocs after a whole day wearing them. Real shiok sour-stinky smell!

@spillay : Actually, it’s been raining quite a bit and with Divya being sick, we’ve been at home. The oldies won’t be getting the crocs – we think we’d look silly in them 🙂 – I’ll be getting to the tag soon – but have to think about it first….

@Julie : I think your kids would like them – I can imagine how comfy they are. They are $24 per pair – worth it as long as they last awhile.

@ramli : I agree, adults should keep away from the crocs. I’ll keep you updated on the crocs’ fragrance update – so far Divya has only worn it once and with socks so no smells yet hehe

@kellan : yup, they sure are pretty 🙂

@raggedyanne : i agree with you – they only look cute on the kiddos.

@sarah: yes, we’re going through that teenage-stage 🙂 – drive the parents crazy. I wear size 4-5 – a little loose but it’s ok with socks for now.
