Summer, Summer, Summer Time

Friday, May 30, 2008

You know Motherhood has set in when the little munchkin is attending more parties than you are.  Divya is really getting into the swing of summer.

I just had to buy this dress when I saw it – it’s the most pretty summer dress (and it was such a pleasant surprise that it is made in India)

Divya loves the swing in the park – but the same can’t be said for her buddy, Collette (seen crying in the background)

We also attended her friend Katie’s birthday party today – Divya had a ball of a time, screaming along with the other little girls.  But she still prefers to play and wonder around by herself – I really think it’s time I start taking her to more playgroups for her to interact with other children.  The only child she has seemed to warm up to is her mapillai on the Yellowstone trip – that could be because she saw him everyday and got comfortable with him.

Isn’t this the cutest little picnic table hehe – the kids were really cute, stealing food from each others’ plates while the others weren’t looking

So this is what we’ve been up to…..

Yes, the colours along with sunshine always brighten my day 🙂
It is warming up – but very slowly.

@Julie : Yes, it is an awesome table. I need to get one eventually – but these things are expensive. And about the dress, I love it – it’s Osh Kosh but was on sale for $5 🙂 – I’m always on the look out for sales 🙂 – and her t-shirt inside the dress got wet that’s why she’s half without clothes.

What a little darling. Such a sweet looking little girl and that dress, what can I say?? That is a really cool little table. I don’t think we will have much of a spring. We’ve gone from a/c to heat in a matter of days. Happy days 🙂

@deianira : Don’t be deceived by the looks – as you can see, she’s in the play pen/yard, if she’s let out, she’ll be doing upside-downs with her dress over her head hehe

@Joy : We are still in spring 😦 – the weather is actually a little cold with rain here. I hope it warms up soon – I want to take Divya to the park so she can release all that energy.
